This Privacy Policy explains how ShiftMate ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Data Collection and Storage

ShiftMate is designed to be privacy-first.

Local Storage: All your shift data, including schedules, hourly rates, and earnings calculations, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData technology.
iCloud Sync: If you have iCloud enabled, your data is securely synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud services. We (the developers) do not have access to your data, your schedule, or your earnings. We do not store your data on any external servers owned by us.

2. Permissions We Request

To provide key features, the App may request access to certain system permissions:

Calendar: We request "Full Access" to your Calendar to sync your shifts to the iOS system calendar. This is used solely to write shift events to your calendar. We do not read, scrape, or sell your personal calendar events.
Photo Library / Files: We may request access to save "Snapshots" (images of your schedule) to your device's photo gallery or files app.

3. Analytics and Crash Data

We do not use third-party analytics tools (like Google Analytics or Mixpanel) to track your behavior.

Apple may collect anonymous crash reports and usage statistics (if you have opted-in to share data with developers in your iOS settings). This data is anonymized and used solely to improve the App's stability.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

All payments and subscriptions are processed securely by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card information or billing address.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., email for support). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
