Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 27, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Draft AI: Strategy for Dota 2 ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
A. Visual Data (Screenshots)
- What we collect: When you use the "Instant Recognition" or "Camera Scan" feature, we process the images you provide to identify Dota 2 heroes.
- How we use it: These images are processed temporarily to extract game data (hero names).
- Storage: We do not permanently store your uploaded photos on our servers. Once the analysis is complete, the image data is discarded.
B. User Generated Content & History
- What we collect: We store your draft history, selected heroes, role preferences, and analysis results locally on your device.
- How we use it: This allows you to review past matches and track your win rate trends within the "Profile" and "History" sections.
C. API Keys
- Optional: If you choose to input your own Google Gemini API Key in the settings, this key is stored securely on your device using local storage (UserDefaults/AppStorage). We do not have access to your personal API key.
2. Third-Party Services
A. Google Gemini AI
Our strategy engine is powered by Google's Generative AI. When you tap "Analyze":
- Text data describing the hero lineup is sent to Google's servers for processing.
- This data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
B. Firebase & Analytics (If applicable)
We may use anonymized analytics services (like Firebase) to understand app usage patterns (e.g., which features are most popular) and to track crash reports. This data does not personally identify you.
