AI Remote ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AI Remote mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

1. Information Collection and Use

a. Local Network Access To function as a remote control, the App requires access to your local network to discover and communicate with your devices (e.g., LG, Samsung, Roku, Apple TV).

• Important: This communication happens directly between your iOS device and your TV. We do not transmit your local network map or device logs to our external servers.

b. AI Recommendations & User Input When you use the AI Assistant feature to ask for movie/show recommendations:

• Your text queries are processed to generate results.
• We use third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI API) to process these requests.
• We do not store your search history personally identifiable to you on our servers.

c. Movie & TV Data We use The Movie Database (TMDB) API to display movie posters and details. Your browsing interaction with these specific items is not tracked by us for marketing purposes.

d. Haptics and Audio The App uses your device's Haptic Engine and Audio speakers to provide feedback. No audio is recorded from your device.

2. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you (e.g., for analytics or subscription management).

• RevenueCat: Used to manage subscriptions and purchases.
• The Movie Database (TMDB): Used for media metadata.
• OpenAI: Used for AI processing.

3. Data Retention

We do not store personal account data (such as email or phone numbers) as the App does not require user registration. Subscription status is linked to your Apple ID and managed by Apple.
